Carew Karting is based on an old disused airfield and has been established since 1999. The circuit fist opened in May 1999, and was run on concrete for a year before laying down an asphalt track in 2000 The track was extended again in 2004 making it an impressive 500 meters in length. It included challenging corners, chicanes and a long straight which gives a good adrenaline rush when driving our 390cc thunder karts.
The circuit added a new “ S “ section at the end of summer 2015, proving a popular part to the circuit for both regular and new drivers. Carew Karting offers the ultimate karting experience for both novice and experienced drivers, welcoming anyone aged 8yrs + to take part.
We’re family friendly, so you can all go out in the same session as the kids if you want or go in a separate adult session in our thunder karts for a bigger adrenaline rush. Your sure to have a great karting experience at our all weather kart circuit, situated only 5 miles from Tenby which boasts some of the best coastlines in Wales. We run arrive and drive sessions for individuals and groups and a range of different race events all competitively priced.
In preparation for the races we run, each kart is thoroughly checked. All the engines and karts are equalized with high spec equipment. Throughout the race, the karts are maintained by our pit crew. If a repair is needed during the race, our mechanics will promptly repair or replace the kart, returning you to the track as quickly as possible.
